The servers are legit ass. Out of 20 or so matches I've been disconnected from about 12 of them.

After all the betas and testing they had, I can't believe it's so garbage. SF4 at launch was better than this crap.

Game seems to look a lot better from when that first Ryu vs Chun trailer was released. Looks faster, V skill and trigger look ok, even though V trigger just looks like an X factor mode for a lot of players.

It's getting better at least. Would have liked to see less SF characters and more new ones or at least for the old characters to be given the Ken treatment and play pretty different than before.

I got it on PS4 because I'm not really playing anything on PS4.

Feels slower than PC, like I have to wait just a fraction longer before I try to link moves together. Supposedly thr input lag is fixed, so if it has been, then the PC version is too fast?

And the UI is really slow. Really slow to connect to a game, splash 'vs' screen really slow to load etc.

Bit of a shit purchase seeing I have bought SF4 from vanilla to Ultra in multiple platforms. But I guess for those who've never played it, it'd be good value.

Add me if you guys are keen. Main Boxer, off main Makoto. Don't play often but when I do I'm always up for some sets.

Stream name is the same as my username.

Recent ranked play clearly shows some people are having serendipitous disconnections.  :Kappa:

Hmmm yeah poor Nicholas. He must have had that same bad connection with me.

Hope your connection gets better, Nicholas. :Kappa:

ryu's medium punches looks like heavy punches, they look really slow

The whole game looks really slow. Looks slower than Street Fighter 4 which was already really slow compared to others SF games.

Don't know why they're fascinated with making the gameplay slow. Is it to attract new gamers, easier barrier for entry?

Looks like shit either way. They need to speed it up.

Trailers being taken down left and right. Try this one:
If that gets taken down then:

Surprised they're only having it as PC/PS4 exclusive. I'll get it on PC anyway. I hope most people do so we don't have a big split of players on PS/XB/PC like with SF4.

Also, it kinda looks just like SF4 from the graphics, and it seems to zoom in when you're doing a special move like Ryu's tatsu or Chun Li's air special, which looks like it would kinda be irritating. Don't know, maybe you'll just get used to it, like watching through 10 second ultras was annoying, but you just got used to it.

Have to see what the mechanics are, but from the trailer it seems they're really pushing for the hardcore fighting fans, rather than trying to appeal to the broader casual audience. Lots of tournament video trying to hype it up for the competitive scene.

I hope it doesn't have ultras, or focus attacks. Didn't really like either mechanic.....just make it like 3rd Stirke, the GOAT fighting game.

PKMN do you play on endless? I haven't seen you on like ever, when I play (but I don't play on regular hours actually).
Would be good to get some games in with your rog (you main rog right?)
Yes I play Balrog.

I don't play a whole lot anymore so probably why you haven't seen me in a while.

Who do you play? Sorry I'm bad with remembering usernames. Did we play a lot in the past? Only player I can think of with a similar name is c4rn or something. Cody player.

If you want we can arrange some matches.

Steam is just shit. Green bar can mean no bar. And you can't send messages to one another or anything. It's a horrible piece of software.

Steam is not shit.

Capcom and Q-Loc's implementation of it is. Huge difference.

I think it's pretty shit.

Constantly get 'can't connect to steam could' or 'steam is already running' when I want to play. Then you can't send messages to people unless they're already in your friends list and even then it's like some IM system which deletes the conversation once you're out.

Everything about online (from playing to messages) has gotten way way worse going from AE to Ultra. Part of that is Capcom's fault for not implementing online play well, but it's also Steam being shitty too. And every god damn time I want to play Ultra, which admittedly isn't very often, there's always some Steam update you have to download.

I just don't like it at all. Wish GFWL was still up and it went back to that.

sllloooowwww - ironically , this is how good your internet is.

GGS none the less.

Actually I take that back, every single player is fucking horrificly laggy today. I wonder how many hours ive wasted on the piece of shit game. Such a shame it went tits up. PC was good.

He's a Cody player right? He's good with Cody. Best I've seen on PC anyway.

And I agree with you with the game turning to shit. Going to Steam has completely ruined it. It was pretty fast on GFWL and a green bar meant green bar, but Steam is just shit. Green bar can mean no bar. And you can't send messages to one another or anything. It's a horrible piece of software.

Is there anything you DO know, mate?

SXC is the Adelaidian counterpart to BAM and OHN, Arnold is someone who has won the latter before (TBF, I didn't know this until he told me either).

Before you ask, BAM and OHN are Battle Arena Melbourne (I think) and OzHadou Network (again, not sure). SXC is, unless I'm mistaken, Southern Cross Championship. I've heard tales told of something similar in Perth, but no one cares about that, least of all Perth dwellers.

I'm not your mate.

And no I don't follow this crap. Can't believe people put so much effort into this game that they're willing to have pages-long arguments stroking their cocks over how much better they supposedly are than someone else.

What's SXC?
