Heads up to all you Melbourne fighting game fans. ShadowLogic will be running the OzHadou Nationals qualifier to find the best Super Street Fighter IV: AE player as well as the best Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 player in Melbourne and send them over to Sydney to represent us at the 11th OzHadou Nationals tournament.

Players will also be playing for seeding points. All players who are seeded will be separated on the tournament bracket, so they don't fight each other early on.
While we can't provide flights for King of Fighters XIII and Virtua Fighter 5:FS, we will still hold tournaments for these games to reward players who are traveling to OHN to compete in these titles with seeding points.

We also have setups up and running for those who just want to play casuals or practice. Not just for AE, Marvel, KoF and VF either, but for other fighting games too. So hope to see you all come down.

All the details can be found here.

Tournament Announcements / ShadowLogic Tournament Thread
« on: October 01, 2012, 05:09:07 PM »
Instead of making a thread for each tournament at ShadowLogic HQ, I will just post them in this thread, so keep checking back.

I know this is not a fighting game, but it is a tournament and in the tournament section.  :P
FIFA13 launch tournament. All the details in the link below.

Hope to see you FIFA fans there. Look out for more tournaments soon!  :p:

You guys can try and take back the title at BAM. If not, it's all good, title looks good on us anyway.  8)
Thanks to the ButtonSmash organizers for running a smooth tourney and letting Melbourne show the rest of Oz how it's done.  :p:

Hey guys, time for another Friday Night Showdown event and this week we're going with Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.
We will be running an Armies style event. Basically, we choose two captains, then those captains choose their team one by one from the registered players on the night.

Format is pokemon style, so captains choose a player to battle first and they fight the opposing players until they lose in a best of 3 game format. (Winner stays on). Winner cannot change his team, assists or order.

Winning team walks away with the cash, plus the player with the most wins will walk away with some bonus cash as well as some prizes. Biggest win streak player on the losing team will also walk away with a prize.

You don't have to be a pro to enter, so come on down and be apart of a fun night.
For those who don't play Marvel, there will be other fighting games on hand to such as Super SFIV:AE, SoulCalibur V, Virtua Fighter 5:FS, JoJo's HD and King of Fighters XIII.

4:00PM -- Doors open.
8:00PM -- Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Armies Starts

If we stream, it will be on;

VENUE ENTRY -- $5 All night casuals

Winning team -- Walk away with their $5 back and another $5 from one of the opposing players.

Winning team MVP -- Bonus cash and prizes.

Losing team MVP -- Prizes from our stash.

If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below.

Hey guys, all the info can be found at;
Hope to see you all come down!  :p:

ShadowLogic will be hosting the first ever preview of Dead or Alive 5 here in Melbourne. The Shadowloo and Couchwarriors crew will be on hand to show you the ins and outs of DoA5.

Even if DoA is not your thing, there will be other fighting games on hand for you to get into and who knows, maybe a few mins with DoA5 might change your mind about the series.
Did we mention there is free drinks and pizza on the night?... Yeah, thought that might help.

We will be trying to stream the event if possible, but depends on our bandwidth. We'll post on our social networks on the day if we start streaming. Or you can follow us on; and know exactly when we go LIVE via email.

Also, if there is time, we may run a small tourney and give away a copy of DoA5 on release.

Hope to see you guys there and please, if you have any questions, leave them in the comments below.

P.S: Bring a jacket, it can get cold in the ShadowLogic ice castle! :D
