Community News / Lost cables at last YSB

I didn't know where to post this and I kinda forgot to do so for over a week now until I needed one but I lost my 2 cables that connect the ps3 controllers to the ps3 at the last YSB. I was at the Tekken and Injustice set ups. So if anyone picked them up by mistake please let me know. I can't sync my controllers to the ps3 anymore hahaha.

Also if I posted this in the wrong place, can mods please move it to where it belongs? Thank you.

Greetings my fellow ♥♥♥♥♥♥s and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ettes. I've recently moved in with my cousin and now we have an empty house to ourselves. What a better way to celebrate than to have a Marvel day. So I will be holding a Marvel day (very much like Arkodia) this Saturday the 26th of May. It will mainly include Marvel, cards (the Big 2 la variety) and chicken.

When: 26/05/2012
Where: 17 Randolph Street, South Granville, 2142
What time: 3 pm.

I can pick up people from Granville station if they want.

Congrats to Mario for the win. Tight matches. Had to come back in the final. Zhan very very solid at second and knocking Mario into losers. Cheyne just keeps getting better and better. Details:

Times: Noonish sign-up; 1PM start
Date: Saturday 04/02/12
Format: Double elimination; BO3 at finals (winners and losers)
Settings: 0 life; 80 seconds; BO5 rounds
Entry fee: $7 if <16 participants, I will drop it to $5 if we can get more! Tell one tell all!

This tournament will be the first of many and is the best way to gain experience especially against some of the better players. So get as many people as interested as possible!

SYDNEY OHNX TTT2 REGIONAL QUALIFIERS ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Date: Friday 3rd of February 2012.
Time: Sign-ups 6:00 - 6:30 pm, tournament starts at 7:00 pm.
Venue: George St Timezone.
Format: 1vs1 Double Elimination.
Sign up cost: $5.

Tournament Details:
<> We will be using two machines.
<> Double elimination (you get TWO lives).
<> Matches will consist of ONE GAME until the GRAND FINAL, then BEST OF 3.
<> Random stage select.
<> If both players decide to use the same side, a coin toss will be played.
<> We will be using the life settings as they currently are (100%).
<> Seeding will be sorted on the day.
<> Top 3 places also receive seeding points for OHN.

I will only take sign ups from this thread. Other threads do not count.

Date: Saturday-Sunday, 18th-19th of February
Time: TBA
Entry Fee: $5
Platform: PS3
Judges: Runis, Goswu, FaYd.

Prize: Prize money will be split among top three 60:30:10.

Important: BYO controller.

Rules:
- Best of 5 rounds.
- Life settings set to default.
- Winner cannot change character.
- Loser can change character
- All matches will be best of 3 games.
- Macros are allowed.

SYDNEY TEKKEN 6 BLOODLINE REBELLION 1VS1 TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Date: Friday 26th of August 2011.
Time: Sign-ups 6:00 - 6:30 pm, tournament starts at 7:00 pm.
Venue: Good Games, Broadway.
Format: 1vs1 Double Elimination.
Sign up cost: $5.

Tournament Details:
<> We will be using the head to head machines at GGS.
<> Double elimination (you get TWO lives).
<> Matches will consist of ONE GAME until the GRAND FINAL, then BEST OF 3.
<> Random stage select.
<> If both players decide to use the same side, a coin toss will be played.
<> We will be using the life settings as they currently are (110%).
<> Seeding will be sorted on the day.
<> Prize money will be split as I and only I see fitting.

What's this? A TEKKEN thread on OzHadou!!! HOW COULD THIS BE???

Believe it or not your eyes are not deceiving you. It's a Tekken tourney thread. The reason why it's posted on OzHadou because it's not any other Tekken tournament, it is however the last tournament we will have at Good Games. I don't think much explaining is needed here as you all or most of you are SF players and have played at one point or another at Good Games therefore are aware of the current situation.

Seeing how some of the Tekken players took the initiative to join the last SF tourney, I thought some of the SF players are nice enough to return the favour and join us in our last slugfest at GGS. Who knows, you might actually have a good time. You might even enjoy the actual game. Hell you might enjoy it so much you want to take it up seriously. All up to you.

With that said, I really do hope some of you join up. It will be most fun.

Note: After the tournament we will be having dinner/drinks/whatever with Kevin and Josh as a small thank you for all their time and effort.
