noobies at totally welcomed. you learn a lot more when you get feedback from better players. it's also a way to meet up with lots of like minded people as well.

i hate running sf at full screen, i have dual screens, but i still like to move it around to do my other shiz. i run it in 1280x720 so i can enjoy the game with the frame trapped program.

the guys responsible for the port made games only appear in endless if the host isn't playing. so it's super hard to find games in endless with 2 people unless they just so happen to just finish their game. for ranked games, seems to be a port problem. there are many people who have the right ports open, but still have problems finding games.

also cran is big fat liar and everybody knows it

shift tab for steam overlay, then click on "view players", then click recent games. if they're friends list is full, then i guess they need to delete some people

Stumbled across this today:

https://bitsum.com/parkcontrol/

The short version is that by default, on multi-core systems, Windows parks or suspends cores if your system is not actively using them which invokes queue latency and performance hand-braking under some situations. When disabled, you gain  full access to all your CPU cores at all times. The real world result is that it offers some performance gains in CPU intensive applications and games.

I've been running it for a couple hours now and have noticed an even distribution of CPU requests across all eight cores. I'm yet to do anything very CPU intensive this morning, but some quick reading has revealed some folks reporting that it offers some FPS gains and so on in various games. Sounds kinda nifty.

Does that mean you can make single core games into multi core compatible? I thought it need some programming magic to do that in the core game for that to happen.

Also 5th place again...life is rigged...
