Anyway, mashing itself is just a tool like blocking. But the people from the second list don't have any other tools for most situations. It's like people who never mash or try to counter, and do nothing but block, they can be tedious, but there's nothing difficult to overcome about their 'defense'. An example of this would be FinalBlast123... Sometimes I will go 30 seconds frame trapping him before I remember he doesn't do anything other than block. You can command grab him 10 times in a row.

I've actually been mashing alot now and if you verse me you'll see it. I obviously notice that there are 3 things that Yun players always do after the block dive kick.

1. End combo with shoulder
2. Normal throw (LP+ LK)
3. Command throw

Stekoh has actually improved alot. Every year he comes to shadowloo showdown and each time he get's stronger and stronger. The thing is he's never complacent and always have the drive to improve. Don't down play him.
Offline, i'll actually back him to beat alot of you guys in a MM ft5.

yeah Stekoh is good. I've verse him many times both online and offline. No one should underestimate him!

3
Shoutouts to HeavyWeapons for losing to Stekoh at Shadowloo Showdown V and got so salty that he was shouting at Stekoh.

Definitely the funniest shit I've heard

Robsux has been the only guy to play her and use some spacing, frame traps and generally feel like I'm not playing against the CPU.

I agree with this. Robsux is the only guy who knows how to play Poison "properly". From my experience Poison players only know how to throw fireballs and spam random flip kick from mid screen. I don't know why people would spam the flip kick. I mean it puts you into a 50/50 situation because it's -1 on block so yeah I would not spam it especially against grapplers because it's a free SPD or ultra 1 punish for them.

I think thats Weng from Perth. I think he'll be at the tourney Friday, if I play him Soj and win I'll dedicate it to you and your family.

Weng is a troll and hates Street Fighter so I doubt he'll be there. In other news I still can't believe I finish top 4 at the last tournament which was actually a team tournament and I had no team lol. damn I was lucky

Also the game feels slower than on the PC. Just sitting in training mode, I feel like I have to wait just a bit longer to hit a button to connect the combo. PC feels like it's faster. Not sure which is closer to arcade, but I guess I've gotten used to PC and I'm dropping combos everywhere on Xbox.

I agree in terms of gameplay (movement)  the Xbox version does feel slower than PC. For me its very noticeable if you're using a gaming monitor hooked in your Xbox but having said that, in terms of doing combos that requires some strict timing, both PC and Xbox is the same IMO

I blame niah for Rob's performance against Zeus.

I think Rob should've pulled out Viper or stayed Ibuki, bl Rob!

yeah I thought Rob would be all over that Vega match up because of Niah's Vega. I also thought he should of pulled out Viper or stayed with Ibuki

5th place overall is not bad at all especially when he had to verse Sanford Kelly in his 2nd round match

Zeus is a sponsored player, like top 10 in the world dude. When you get to that level shit get's a bit different..  ;D

Correction: Zeus is not sponsored. PIE is just a "Team" name. It's the same for Dieminion and Sanford Kelly. Both from EMP but is just a team

Think you have that wrong.

He's still a professional travelling player which ever way you spin it mate. Saying he'd be good in the Vega match because of Niah is like saying he'd be good in the Sagat match because of me....  :o

http://capcomprotour.com/standings/

Well Niah does play a decent Vega at a high level and you know it. You would of thought that with Rob versing Niah so many times, you would think that Rob would know most of Vega's tech by now unless Rob doesn't verse Niah's Vega very much, well that changes everything........

EDIT: Yes Zeus is still a professional traveling player but the difference between a traveling player and an sponsored player is basically a sponsored player gets all of his traveling fees and his accommodation all payed by his sponsor. In other words the sponsored player doesn't have to pay anything. With a player who is not sponsored, he has to pay for everything i.e. Accommodation, Flights

So this morning I was watching the teamspooky stream (Next Level Battle Circuit Tournament) and I'm seeing robsux in the tournament  :o

I'm sure most people here know who he is.

Who was he using?

He was using Ibuki. Brackets are here btw  http://nextlevel.challonge.com/nlbc71ae2012

His first round match was really a match he should of won. I guess the nerves got the better of him. According to the commentator he also played Yun and Ibuki agaisnt Sanford Kelly and apparently he did some unblockables agaisnt Sanford Kelly thus Sanford had no idea what to do.

ok yeah I understand. I just read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_lag

pay attention to the heading that says "Effects of display lag on users". Now I understand what response time really means

14
please don't confuse troll from actual help.

lol you cant blame me to be confuse. Ever since I join here, I'm just trying to help people out but instead I get people on here writing shit about me. I mean come on what have I done to deserve that?

List of names talking shit:

Dr Blue Wizard
The Pope
bortface

response time labelled on your monitor is just the time it takes for pixels to turn on and off, faster it is, less motion blur.

So if the input lag doesn't come from monitor response time, Where does it come from?

15
e.g. 2ms response time versus 1ms response time. The timing is a huge difference

Response time has nothing to do with input lag. Completely different specification.

ok if response time has nothing to do with input lag why are people so bitchy about response times on gaming monitors? Please if your going to troll me, troll harder. You're reminding me why I don't bother posting comments on here
