I've got a 4pm-6pm class on Wednesdays so will be in the city anyway. Wouldn't mind catching some games then if people are gonna be around.

How long do you guys usually hang till for weeknights?

I see, as long as you're aware of it.

It's just kinda odd when you see people go "heading out in 2 hours" at like 2am and you're just left wondering :o

lol I mean the place hasn't even opened yet

Random Discussion / Time Stamp on posts?
« on: July 15, 2014, 07:03:42 PM »
Seems like we don't have a site feedback section so I figured Random Discussion was the next best place to put this.

Anyway, not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this but the time display on posts when being viewed inside of a thread seem to be out of sync. Makes it rather hard when people are talking about meeting up. Example below

Outside the thread - Correct time is displayed.

Inside the thread - Wrong time is displayed.

So I made a slight mistake of asking this on the shoryuken forums where I was greeted with ...the shoryuken community.
Luckily one person was nice enough to guide me here.

The mistake was that it was in the wrong section than anything. But the biggest mistake was that it was in General Discussion (which is their off topic area where dudes go to smack talk each other lol). Other sections of the site there are generally pretty good, and more well-behaved than General Discussion. If you go to Tech Talk or the fighting game specific forums then there's a wealth of knowledge that you can find there.

The newbie dojo they have there, offer some pretty common and helpful advice for newcomers to fighting games too.

Anyway now that you're here, hopefully you can start finding your feet and players to play with.

Thanks for the heads up. Wished I had found out before Evo...

Always next time I guess!

The set ups are always available for play. They should have four setups there (sticks included). Just pay the counter and you're good to go.

The hard part is just finding people to play with. (unless you're happy just to training mode it up) Friday nights is the weekly get together. Any time outside of that will need to be organised beforehand, unless you grab a friend or something.
