Easiest way to get there is just go to this link -> http://chat.mibbit.com/ find EFNET in the server list and put #ozhadou for channel. There's a couple other people who hang there who might play KoF as well, also a good place for finding someone to play against in various other games. Just don't take the shit talk seriously.

Did people like the Red Room at 99oY?
Yes.

Was there enough space for everyone?
Yes.

Did you like/dislike the truncated hours on Sunday?
Dislike.

Did the lack of bonus activities, like exhibitions and combo videos, bother you?
Not at all.

Was the registration process OK?
It worked out ok but was poorly communicated prior to the event (BYO/Spectator stuff etc.)

Was the schedule OK (SSF4 and MvC3 running in parallel)?
Bad idea, but probably was necessary due to Sunday being shorter.

How was the BYO side of things? Did people find the BYO discounts attractive?
BYO was fine. Discounts were poorly thought out and discriminatory.

Were there enough official tournament, or too few?
Offcial support for some of the more popular DIY games would be nice e.g. Blazblue, SF2

Were the finals on Sunday well run, from a player and spectator perspective?
I don't like live commentary that the players themselves can hear, but from a spectator perspective, no complaints.

Is an international link like the Evo TS important to you? Did the withdrawal of the Evo TS change your opinion of OHN this year at all?
I think it's a great thing for the event but it's not important to me personally.

Voted option one. For the cost of one international player's plane ticket, we could pretty much solve all the problems we have with lack of gear (more setups for the tourney/casuals but also could be used at regular meetups e.g. York). I also think adjusting the payout system so it's not so top heavy and distributed more equally amonst the top 8 would be good as well. Personally, I don't really care about international guests or stream setups.

Just wanna say thanks to organisers, gear providers and everyone that attended. Great event, let's keep it up!

I think swiss format for the tourneys was a good choice, esp. for players that are new or those that don't take the game seriously. It's not worth it for me to join a double elim tourney, but swiss is ok.

A couple of questions:

Does anyone play King of Fighters in VIC? Any plans to get some kind of a setup going for 98/2k2/XI/XIII? I might be able to bring a stick, but that's about all I can fit in my luggage.

Who is top Blazgreen players in Melb? We def need to get some games of this in. PM me so we can sort it out.
