Buying and Selling / WTS: AkiCustoms PS360+ PCBs

Hi,

I bought a few extra of these, so if anyone is interested I'm selling them for $60 each. They will be available to pick up in Sydney at events (tomorrow's YSB inclusive), but shipping interstate will probably cost an extra $8 at least (probably less per unit if shipping in bulk).

MadCatz Tournament Edition Round 2 FightStick (360)
No box (damaged), but stick is completely new.

Hori Real Arcade 2 Pro - Special Addition (PS2)
Box has slight damage, but stick is unused and in packaging. Final run PS2 stick attainable only from Hori-Store Japan. All Sanwa parts. Includes limited 24mm Sanwa DarkHai buttons, exclusive to the HRAP2SA. Works well with all PS2 converters to any system.

Casual Event Announcements / [SYD] EOI: North-West Meetups

Hello,

My name's David and I live in the Hills area of Sydney.

I am currently in the process of securing a venue the Hills/Ryde area for offline meets. Currently, it seems any meets in the area have been privately, but I'm keen to expand and meet people from around the place who would like to play. Currently, the details are as follows:

Location: TBA (short walk from Epping Station)
Cost: $10~$15 depending on the numbers
Time: Saturday once a month (will alternate with YSB), 12pm-9pm
Games: Anything anyone would like to bring or play!

If anyone is interested from around the area, or would be keen to travel to it, please reply to this thread so I can get some idea how much space we would need.

EDIT: I would really like about 10 people interested in this before I proceed further with organising, so please post here if you're interested. Given it's to alternate with YSBs, I'm guessing the first date would be the 28th of April, btw.

Tournament Rules
Date/Time: 18/02/2012, 3pm onwards
Format: Double Elimination, best 2/3 games
Version: Super Street Fighter II X - Grandmaster Challenge
Settings: 2/3 rounds per game
Speed: JPN Turbo 3

Hardware
System: 2x JPN CPS2 boards, 2x Superguns,
Display: 2x BenQ E2420HDs, 2x XRGB-3 (XRGB-mini available for hdmi out)
Controls: 4x Sanwa HRAP2/3 (Astro layout), BYO PS2 w/Toodles' FGW Converters OK

Rules
  • Best 2/3 rounds, winner must keep character, loser may change character
    Super characters are selectable (provided player enters code correctly)
  • Akuma is banned
  • 1P or 2P side decided by coin toss or equivalent if necessary
  • Blind selection available on request

Scheduling
  • Matches will be organised around players' pools. If a player is in an overlapping pool for any official or DIY game, please let us know ASAP so we can adjust the order of matches accordingly.
  • If a player needs to be absent for a period of time, please also let the organisers know ASAP.
  • Without notifying any of the organisers, players will have the initial call of their match, a warning after 5 minutes, and then a final warning after another 5 minutes to start their match. Failure to do so will result in disqualification, so please remain vigilant with the brackets.

Entry Fee
$5 per player to be paid at the start of event.

Prizes
The prize pool for this tournament will be distributed between the top 3 players.
  • 1st Place - 60%
  • 2nd Place - 30%
  • 3rd Place - 10%

Post here to sign up! This will be the very first Supergun setup tournament at an OzHadou national (I think?), and I've run this set up a few times at York without much issue. Finally giving this game the 100% legit awesome set up it deserves - hopefully the tournament will end up just as good :D

Settings: 2/3 rounds per game, dip switches default
Speed: Turbo 3 (equivalent of JPN3, US2)

Hardware
System: 2 x Dreamcast systems via VGA on BenQ E2200HD monitors
Controls: 4 x Sanwa part/MCCthulhu HRAPs available to use, players can BYO DC controllers
