the top seeded GFWL version on piratebay worked for me with a legit code, used it to get 2012 a bit earlier before the steam version i had purchased updated.

anyone else having trouble with the costume packs? I got both and neither register in game. tried to download again but faced the same problem. ill re download the game after Im done with it later on tonight
edit: found out by buying 2 of the half packs at once caused it to bug out, after trying to re download for a 3rd time it worked fine

They can't possibly have not known about it though. Every game has it's faults to start but they are dropping the ball big time on this one at every turn. They were already losing people with Gems, then losing people with locked content already on the disc, then 360 player issue's, now sound.
I'd rather I got what I paid for, what it say's on the box.
It's a little disappointing as I wasn't all that pumped for the game until I played it.
Yeah its not great, but after playing a few locals in perth with good connection it was quite good. I just cant wait for the pc version to come out, hopefully that improves some of these problems.

Some games feel okay, others dont. seems like the bars aren't the greatest indicator of how the connection will actually go ive had 3 - 4 bars which have been fine and then 5's which felt like i was playing a game with stop motion clay figures.
