If there's sufficient interest to justify it, I would like to run a DIY Super Hexagon tournament. (1 PC station, 8-16 players)

Q: What is Super Hexagon?



Q: Why should I play it?

A: It should get your reactions firing ahead of the fighting games. It's also wicked fun on its own. The tournament shouldn't take very long and it should be a good, chilled out side activity, except for when you're playing and it demands the most intense focus you've ever deployed.

Q: Is this going to be hype?

A: OH FUCK YES.

Missed this earlier. I'm doing my PhD in Media Studies, with the research specializing on video game aesthetics and politics. The Dr Videogames PhD thing is going to be fairly literal.

I'll start showing up in a couple of weeks when my thesis draft is in to my supervisors.

Few months from now I'll be changing my gamer tag to Dr Videogames PhD.

congrats dude! i'll be around 15/16/17 feb so lets get a few games in!

I'll be at Ballarat Beat Rockabilly Festival that weekend, just not sure whether I'll be commuting there/back or crashing out there. Will let you know closer to then, else OHN the following weekend?
