Been having alot of good games lately
And I realized playing in off-peak hours give me decent connections
Anyway, ggs to Idontlose, tons of frame traps and I still have little idea what of Juri's moves I can punish or should just block
Ggs to cinnamontaste's Cody too
Lost alot to both of you

NOT a gg to SojiOkitaAU
I'm cool with quitters, laggers, people kicking me from games
But hate mail calling me inbred and asking me to hang myself? Not so

First post here, just remembered this place existed when I followed 3rd Strike :)

GG to MorningFireEater (Vega) and EAZYMONIES (Yang) we had a fair few games today, also gg to nylarothep (sp?)(Rufus/Balrog), erifyks (Rufus), _soups (Makoto). GG to all the endless list of Ryus and E. Ryus and Onis, Kens and Akumas. There's just too many of you to name. Been playing alot of SSFIV lately, so I'm just going off the top of my head...

Hating on ALL Ryus and Kens, they just seem to be the biggest trolls, everything they do makes me angry. From the winning quotes (These two fists are everything to me 'derp' / Uh oh! I'd better check with Eliza) to their voices spamming 'shoryuuuuuuken shorrrryuken... ex shorrrrrrryuuuken'. Ugh. When there's 20+ dp's in one round from a ken/ryu you just go WTF, why do these people even play this game??

Some people may recognise my Dudley, I use to play alot of Mak before AE but I've grown to love to love the class.

Hey jpage, who is your main? Your in-training Yang gave me so much trouble...

SojikitaaAU or w/e gives me trouble I've only beaten him 2/7 or something. I vs'd what I believe is the best Ryu ever who is Daigo in disguise. Name is gutbell or something, that guy is insane. Spacing/execution is flawless and just went with huge combos on small openings. Couldn't even SPOT a way in :s

Hey Max!
My main has been Yang since AE came out in the arcades, I forgot how to use Abel lol, sad pandas
And ggs man
Anyway, I think you're just not used to Yang cos he's new... and cheap lol the only reason for any of my wins is probably cos I'm using him haha
Your Dudley has really nice links man, one wrong guess and 30% gone, ouch lol

Oh yeah I've played gutbell too, I know what you mean lol
Same feeling when I played Idontlose's Juri, it seems like everytime I press a button, I'm a goner

Was just wondering if anyone has had bad connection issues before 11pm?
When i pull up the matches everyone is single red bar for some reason
Clears up pretty much around 11...
ISP is TPG if anyone cares.. i factored in peak hour traffic and i still don't see why someone who would be green to me at 11.30 is one red bar to me at 10

Also add me if anyone wants to fight a ken (yes another one)

Mmm I'm with TPG too and it is rather painful to work with at times, sometimes you just get so much packet loss that your net simply cannot be used for a while. But when it is stable it is stable with good speeds. Most of the time it's the other players net, when you play around 80% of people where it ALMOST feels like offline (using 'almost' quite loosely here) and then have the remaining 20% lag, it means its not your connection.

You eventually realise when vsing some people the frames stutter alot and at random times. Best option is to avoid these players as timing is very strict in this game and it is very frustrating to drop links and eat shoryukens/command grabs!

New to this site - but nice seeing a number of familiar gametags...

I've moved on to the XBL after the month long offline / delays to the PSN - and though I sucked on the PS3 with my Gief and Ryu/Ken,  I suck even more on the XBL (Partly because I can no longer pull off moves easily with the 360 controller....).

Was on the XBL with SSF4 vanilla - but moved onto the PSN with Super.  Now back to XBL with AE...!

FYI for those with TPG, it's currently having troubles with it's services including quite a few disconnections and problems among many customers (me being one of those people). It's been going on since at least around 3am on the 19th, and is still having troubles at the time of this post (it has been on and off all day, and for a while tonight it went smoothly until about 30 minutes ago). They have had complaints and apparently are hoping to fix it all today (Monday).

Update, it could last a bit longer than 1 day. A lot of places are planned to have maintenance done.

Thanks for the update.
It's strange though....my ping for WoW has never been better. Been getting <200ms pings all the time even when SSF4 is one red bar.

Time to switch to XBL i think...

ggs to all the people i have played the last few days.

AE is loads more fun than super and I am amazed at how quickly the ranked match challenges are happening. Haven't even finished a round in arcade mode without a ranked match kicking in.

Hey mate just saw your post. I've played your Dudley a number of times, (most of which you won!) and always ggs. Even the games when you've destroyed me have been alot more fun than all the random Ryu / Kens that I always play. It's pretty annoying when alot of the game comes down to "will he psychic uppercut here" and when the guy uppercuts so often you don't dare press a button, and the whole thing is just punishing his whiffed DPs  :(

Anyway I hope you stick around PSN, sad to see good players defecting off to Micro$oft!

Yea I enjoy playing you max, footsies practise and I dont have to deal with projectiles lol

As for the spamming ryu's out there I don't find them a problem, I can usually suss them out in the first round. Jumping in is bad, just block and you'll soon realise they have nothing on offence and then proceed with your punisher of choice. Good shotos are another story.

What I do find annoying though is E.Hondas spamming that overhead uppercut thing, I remember some dude coming back from behind to win just spamming that.

As for gutbell, he's good, I wanna play him again, I was winning once but then he dc'ed =[  He beat me the last time though

lol just beat that guy, hate mail as expected

Just got my ass handed to me by tygerpow1 several times with cody and abel. In your face characters own vega so hard, little I can do but block and wait for an opening to get away.

Speaking of tygerpow1 that guy has a pretty mean Cody >.<!!

Yup gg's to nyarlathotep and MorningFireEater, you guys are good fun, when I lose I don't feel remotely bad either because you guys actually have a game that visibly improves and you guys adjust in games and deserve to win!

Hey nyarlathotep I was on iMashbuttons, its my bros account and I jam on it lol, its my alternate account when I simply have a bad day and want to mix in Ryu/Bison/Sagat in my play (where I adopt the most scrub-like tactics just to troll and make people feel the rage I feel! -.-). Sorry I may have thrown in some taunts in today! You don't deserve those.. I'm letting taunts during stun become a habit after I vs'd some annoying person who plays Guy, name is kodakz who beat my bro's Ryu cleanly and SPAMMED taunts and focus attacks so hard. The Guy is so scrubby... so I Dudley'd his face.

Some players make me rage so bad!! Ahhhhhh scrub tactics/run away grrr. When I get angry whew do I get mad and just die... Blankas and Bison... I just do not want to see those faces pop up when I play, Blanka is simply gimmicky (hop hop, trip, grab, trip, hop hop, poke poke frametrap lightning and then 'Grr Taunt' uhhh) Bison is very hard to punish and kick normals are just really hard to deal with.

SojiokitaAU is pretty good though, haven't got hate mail from him and its about 50/50 when I verse him.

Bisons of note GeorgieBoi and BrucLee_Brother, winning chance is about 15%, real nasty to verse, punishes on teleport/ex PC is hard, ex PC = reversal m.mgb or U1. Hard to outfootsie, lots of crossups that are sometimes hard to read.

Falling into the habit of ex-dp'ing so much, I've becoming scrub :(
