I know the guy who played the Zero/Arthur/Phoenix team really well back in my UK days.

He told me he's gonna drop Phoenix though. He just wants an excuse to use more supers lol. Also, he has a zero centric team in mind lately.

An interesting mechanics video on the Crossover Counter Assist-call thing (CROSS COUNTERRRR~!!!). Your assist you call in is totally invincible during the jump in until they perform their assist, then they take on properties of that assist (in terms of invincibility and stuff).

So if you Cross Countarrr with Haggar Lariat in a blockstring, he'll be able to super-cancel into his spam-puncher as if he did his lariat himself.

The most interesting/DISGUSTING use of it is actually cancelling the invincible jump down part of the cross counter into an aerial hyper. The disgusting example they use in the video is Sentinel who's Hard Drive is TOTALLY INVINCIBLE and since he does it so damn low, if it pushes them to the corner, he can combo right after it, potentially catching assists as well.

So if your character is about to get chipped out, 2 stocks and you can potentially catch them with absurd Senti-gayness and an absurd combo.

I like this video for reasons other than the whole 'zomg fast kill' (though that's a good reason to like it)

What happens at 1:03? The combo meter resets to 55 hits.

The shocking pink removes all of Joe's contribution to the combo. I actually picked up something that should have been really obvious for my play from this.  Anyways there is still plenty more for a second video, joe is the combo vid char of the game.

Yeah, and not even just joe himself. Just hit slow, swap to any of the other 30+ chars, and do a flashy combo which you can't normally do.

My only criticism of that video is that the first combo should have come later in the video. To date that is probably one the best combos I've seen so far in any marvel 3 video (tragic standard).

Are you playing a lot Iso or mainly just doing combo video stuff?

Yeah I'm playing a decent amount, but uni/work/portal 2 take their toll. Aiming for top8 at OHN and stuff, not too sure whether I can make it but hey, let's see. :S
