Is anyone breaking the street date?
« on: February 15, 2011, 02:05:02 PM »
Just checking if anyone is or has noticed retailers breaking the 17th Feb street date for MvC3?

DLC concerns and all that have made me want to just buy local- I'll be checking store shelves around the CBD between now and Thursday.

Meanwhile if anybody else spots anyone selling copies early, please let us know.

Yup, this would be good information to know :D

I'm going to be stuck inside an office for most of the next couple of days, but I think an early find of Marvel would convince me to take a few days off.

I have a feeling there is a better chance of it happening tomorrow, but you never know.
I will post here if I hear anything.  :)

Dungeon Crawl (who had early SSFIV) says they aren't getting them in untill the 21st at the earliest, but they are going to selling them for cheapzors, at around $60. JB has a release date of "February", and a price of $88, so if we're unlucky, EBgames may be the only place having it on Thursday, let alone earlier, and their price is $108 (which is a ripoff, but I'm probably going to pay for it anyway.) BTW, didn't EB have it at $70 pre-order at one point, before jacking the price?
This game glorifies violence. I love it for this reason.

Am I just imagining things, or did JB at Town Hall in Sydney get the original SF4 the day before?

The wanted to push it back like a week to give people a chance to get into the game.
That and was hard to find a venue in time. :P

I think it's a good idea though, I don't think anyone should take on ToXY or Carnage when it's their first time playing MvC3.  :-X

Our Bris launch is going forward as expected (still need to buy pringles though).  Surprisingly, there has been next to no call for selling Weds at midnight.

I know EB had their stock delivered as I was sorting the pre-order draw on Monday. Couldn't convince my supervisor to let me take it home early though hehe :)
