I've been out of the scene for a while mostly due to life/work, but intend to make some more time for the FG scene again soon. I know that Bugsimus' streams for Xbox have been rather successful, however I feel we are not allowing PS3 and now PC users to strut their stuff on the online stage. So I am putting a query out to folks to see fi there is interest in a stream for PS3 and PC players.
You might be wondering whether the PC stream would be bogged down/or it would be done with a webcam or something similar? The simple answer to that is no. I have 2 powerful machines here, one that can run the stream setup, and the other can run the game. I then mirror the display on the machine running the game, and set the appropriate resolution, and hoefully all will be well. I haven't actually tried this yet, so it may not actually work.
No idea of date/time yet, hoepfully if there is enough interest, we can come to a concensus.
SO let me know. If there is interest, I'll probably start the weekend after EVO (Everybody will be overloaded with fighting action that weekend), however I may do some test streaming that weekend to adjust settings to suit my connection etc. If there is interest in both PS3 and PC, I could alternate between the 2 every week.
So, whos up for it?
