I'm a bit confused atm to whats happening.
I'm happy to do a 5 v 5, but we got called out by fox and antman. We'll do the 5 v 5 for sure, but the 2 v 2 should stand as well.

Good to see Melbourne backing up the confidence with $. Keep it coming, we've got the funds to cover it.

Also we won't be announcing a team until we have confirmation of who is coming, and even then it will be based on form leading up to the event. 2 months is a long time in marvel so we don't want to be hasty in our decisions.

Seasons Beatings style where everyone plays everyone once. Question is, 1 game, or best of 3?..
I think best of 3 since it's Marvel and it's quick.

I would like 3, but then you're looking at a range of 50-75 matches, which is reasonably long time considering singles for AE and MvC3 need to be run as well.
With 1 match on Seasons Beating format you'll be looking at 25 games, which to me sounds like a good length. I'm thinking that is at least an hour when you take into account button checks and downtime.

imo the good vs evil games in US were perfect length, bo1, if you want bo3-5 then pokemon style 5v5 would be more appropriate for time restraints.

To be fair, someone asked on stream if Melbourne will MM at OHNX. I said Shadowloofox and Antman would for sure and possibly ToXY.
Then someone came out with the 2v2. But the brothers seem happy to do it so it worked out.

As far as how much I will side bet depends on how much I have left after getting to OHNX.

ALSO! I have an idea.
If it's ok with the OHNX organizers, we could have a 2nd stream (If OHNX is streaming) just for MM's and exhibitions. We can bring along the 4G, plus a laptop, mixer, headphones, etc. Just a thought. Also, if it's cool with Bugsimus that is.

Just incase anyone missed the updates on OP, should this thread now become the OHN:X marvel money match/sidebet thread? I can imagine that there will probably many more challenges being issued in the future so it'll be a good place to keep track of everything. That and I have no idea how to change thread title (if that is indeed possible).

All I'm gonna say is that's a wad of paper being thrown down over a game that just got released less than a month ago. Plus a patch is on it's way too so lets not get too crazy  Still early days boys. Save the heat for the kitchen when you're cooking up a storm (@Tom:  )
