Was that a meterless TOD with cerebella? I think it was.

I will now spend way too much time trying to get a variation of that combo down. Because that is fuckin' metal.
This game glorifies violence. I love it for this reason.

I have a devil horn corner combo that I sometimes use, but there's only 2 in there. I'm definately tempted to go back to experimenting with it.

Done and done! Jolly good of him to ask us like this. :)

From SRK thread:
I shall reserve my official judgement on any potential speed increase until I've seen and heard it on the WNF stream, but I will say that I love the game for what it is right now and that I personally haven't felt the need for a speed increase. However, I trust your judgement and the judgement of the players at WNF, and if you all think that a speed increse will improve this already stellar fighting game then I yeild to your undoubtably superior insight.

Having said all that, I voted no. Simply because I'd rather not see two rather dramatic system changes implemented in the same patch. If it's now or never, then go with your heart, but if it's all the same to you and the Reverge crew I'd rather wrap my head around the IPS and chain shanges while playing at the same speed to which I have become accustomed.

I'm gonna be honest here, 3% is pretty much nothing. After playing Marvel and going to Skullgirls, you can feel that Skullgirls is much slower.
Play Skullgirls

A speed increase?

Before I picked up Skullgirls I knew it'd take me awhile to get used to the speed of the game considering all I ever play is Tekken which is slower.

If we're talking MvC3 speed than there goes my chance at ever being competitive.

I would if I thought it would make a difference but that poll is so one sided there's no point (I'm voting no).

Personally think the speed is fine. I've haven't heard of anyone make an issue of it until now. Why make such a significant change to a still fairly new game? I can't help but feel that people who are pro speed in crease are Marvel players and are just used to a faster game.

Leave Skullgirls as it is.

I bought this game weeks ago, but haven't really had the time to really get into it. Last night I decided to hit up tute mode and completed it, then played around in training mode with Valentine and Peacock. I gotta say, the game really impressed me so far, it seems really great.

I'll have to try and brush up and get some games online soon I think. Is the GGPO netcode solid, at least for playing other Australians?

At the moment there is slowdown sometimes, but I believe they got help from the 3soe guys to improve it with the patch. I find it better than the marvel netcode at least.

I've found the netcode to be excellent. I went from Skullgirls to Marvel one night and it was like playing underwater. I have had some wildly inconsistent ping with one player, but when the number stays green, the flow is smooth.

I had a 26 the other day. It was like butter! :D
