Author Topic: [SFxT] Special Edition query (Read 2045 times)

Hey guys. So I picked up SFXT Specal Edition for PS3 yesterday from EB Games and they gave me an additional coupon to download some gem sets. However, when I try to redeem the coupon found inside the Special Edition on the back of the included comic, I get an error message saying the code is either invalid or expired.

My first thought was that the gem packs i downloaded of the EB coupon must have negated the code as they must have been the same gems that come with the special edition. But a part of me is hoping thats not the case as the extra 45 gems is the reason I forked out the extra cash to begin with. If I had known that EB were going to give away to codes to everyone who bought the game I would have just picked up the standard edition. /rant

So I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this or if anyone can clue me in as to whether or not I'm missing something.

I have the same one but for X-box, you don't get 45 with the regular game, only about 15 (can't remember exactly).

There's a good chance the special edition covers the hand out. I don't think you've been ripped off.

EDIT: Actually just read your post back. So the special edition 45 won't load up at all???

This is odd, perhaps deleting the first gem download (you can redeem them by re-entering the code and re-downloading them if it doesn't work) and then redeeming the comic book code would work?
