A scrubby bison player here who quite often play in GW, need some help from pros about bison vs abel matchup. I am a bison player btw.
Situation:
If abel roll toward you, will normal throw beats his tornado throws? ( I know it wont works if he throw ex- TT)
I always scared to frame trap abel because some good player know when to mash TT.Sometimes I am just clueless how to escape pressure from abel without wasting any meter.

my mind will be fucked up when encounter a good abel player. :-[

I don't know his name but GGs to the asian guy using Dan, pretty sure he was at the York st. gathering too.

I got harassed twice at GW in the early hours by drunk women. One was a mole wanting sex (she looked like a bag of shit) and the other wanted to play, lost then started trying to bash the cabinet. wtf.

just got back from galaxy world (market city) why do they only have original sf4, and why is the timer set to 60secs? whatever buttons worked atleast, met a decent balrog player....i wish I didn't buy a $20 game card cause I'm never going back there....

I really hope I can use my card at the george st arcade

cards from market city work at george street but the money you loaded at market city won't work at george street. it was either that or the card doesn't work at all with george street GW. ;s

It seems like they removed the SSF4 AE cabs as I went there last time.

Ex-TT is not throw invincible, but it is hit invincible. Normal TT is however, throw invincible, but is not hit invincible. You can also throw Abel out of his Marseilles Roll (all versions including ex). Are you talking about the Honkie dude with glasses? His Abel is pretty damn good.

And I think it was Some Random's evil Ryu. Very good player. Always gives me problems. GG to all others there.

GG's to all my opponents from 12:30pm-4:00pm. It was a serious Street Fighter binge. Not many players on Saturday during those hours hahahaha. I even finished the game twice...  and one guy just enters credit as I beat Seth... my $1.10. Damn.

I had my longest streak ever! (Broken by the damn game completion) of 34! About 10 of those were from kids playing for the first time and the rest of the players were quite casual, barring a Guile which was quite solid.

To that Akuma/Oni player, the amount of jump back fireballs was sickening!! Frustrated me into 3 losses when I promised myself to play solidly. Some of those air to airs weren't even reactive, they were mass fierce punches as you were leaving the ground.

And those demon flips into U1. Holy. I don't think you won once with your Oni and for good reason! I had to put my E.Ryu aside at the end, I just wanted to get in with Dudely and wreck face.

I guess I'm salty because I lost to a scrubby play style, which plays to win under any means. About 80% of those tick throws succeeded as well which all occurred after ONE jab, I will never understand why I got hit by those throws. That Guile player was leagues ahead yet your win rate was around the same. Seriously an Akuma playing spam fireball/double kick, then occasionally flipping in and adding in brain dead tick throws and whack U1 setups is comparable in wins to a Guile with developed fundamentals and game sense. I will never understand why this game rewards such bs, there was not one combo. You punished several whiffed shoryukens with mp.srk. Wat da hell.

I'm not half as mad as I sound, just posting my thoughts whilst they still fresh. Again, gg's, I'm enjoying local play immensely. :)

Hi I just want ask another question regarding abel match up here (bison player).

Let say the abel player do the step kick on you and you have NO METER, again this will put you in 50% situation again

1) you expect abel will do TT on you which , which one is preferable way to avoid his pressure? backdash, neutral jump? I noticed that some of the player purposely get hit by abel player, so they won't be in block string (how the hell they do it?)

2) he will do cr HP because he expect you to do neutral jump.Is there any follow up combo or ultra after cr HP.?

3)jump and hit you then dash forward..this shit again TT or... zzzzz

if he score you a knock down, the situation is even worse....guess game again. he can TT, cr HP , or overhead mix up...if no meter basically very hard to escape.

Hopefully anyone can help me...really fed up of abel match up >:( . Bison cannot mashed teleport because they have OS to punish teleport (maybe will try once and never do it again). I think this apply to every characters when the player is meterless under abel pressure.
