GGs to all today. Am I the only one who came out with the intention of doing some Boxing Day shopping but gave up after seeing the crowd?

Great to see you again Dave, wasn't for too long, but GGs.

And to you Captain, I forgot to tell you, nice hat.

It was also cool to see more of the "execution guy" haha, I gotta say though, his Guile is fun to watch, but his Balrog is definitely more solid.

The Zangief/Gouken guy seems to be coming in more often these days, GGs were had, he's a very strong player.

Oh and GGs to the Fuerte that nobody knew how to fight, lol.

Well there's only 2 SSF4 cabs in timezone atm, 3-5 TTU2... and the newest release will be that arcade racing game ....
Also at least theres aircondition installed for TZ at GS in a week or two, won't be that bad.... i guess.

Yep it's true Galaxy World George Street has closed down!

I went to play games today to find the place closed even though I was just there Friday night.

So far the regulars have gone to Timezone. Timezone costs $1.00 (VIP) a go with best of 5 rounds, so not bad value of money. Timezone bonus dollar deals arn't as good as Galaxy World but I think you get more bang for your buck at Timezone. They currently have a School Holiday special of $30 and get $15 bonus credit IIRC.

Anyway had a fun time at Timezone this afternoon. GGs to Yun/Cammy/Adon guy, Ryu guy, Psycholicious and Rose guy who went undefeated with a 21 win streak! (Also GG Blanka guy and Akuma guy). I find everyone is more chatty at Timezone because you have to wait your turn and you're all united to beat the current winner. Just like Vanilla days!

So I hope to see you ALL go to Timezone. So far Market city doesn't have AE yet. Might just be a matter of time before they move the machines over BUT Town hall is a better location. Maybe we should come to a consensus if go to Market city or Town Hall? If Town hall should rename this thread Timezone match feedback.

BTW they are no longer Galaxy World they are now called City Amuesments. RIP Galaxy World 12/01/13.
