Somehow, it feels like we've all been put out of our misery.

I haven't had time to stop by either, but I think I'll visit Timezone tomorrow.

Could be possible they might re-open if they paid their rent, but they had a guy out the front handing out flyers for City Amusements. He told me you could go there to trade in your GW card for free laser tag....  ::)

Not sure why they would be advertising City Amusements if it was just a short term thing. Wait and see I guess.

Perhaps we should have an OzHadou laser tag meeting sometime

and of course complain about how terrible the triggers are.

Will the galaxy world at gs, credits be refundable/or at least transfered to the new card?
Or sacrificed for just 30 mins of free games... ._____. which isn't a good deal for those who have a lot of balance in there.

That poster makes it seem like having 3 empty galaxy world gs cards = 90mins of free games .___.

Yun/Cammy/Adon guy told me he went to Market City and found out you could get a refund if you have credit on your GW card. Make of that what you will.

I've heard it has one vanilla machine if that's what you mean?

Oh no! How will I blow my paycheck on drinking and playing AE now? :(
Sometimes I do suspect, I'm an actor in a well-scripted live divine comedy.

Timezone. Across the road inside the complex near the cinema.

UPDATE: So apparently GW don't even own their own machines any more and you CAN NOT get a refund of your credit at City Amusements. Seems GW had more issues going on than broken buttons.

Glad I burnt every dollar off my cards.

Well I'll be in Timezone if anybody needs me. It can be the new GW if they opened up another 4 cabs and put them further in.

There's something about GW though that can't be replaced... the crappy buttons, the carpet, the dank. I'll miss that place. RIP GW.

I played a bit of arcade mode yesterday at Timezone. The stick on the cab I used was very stiff, I found it difficult to do Supers and Ultras. Could it be because there arent enough players that the stick hadnt the chance to loosen up?

I agree about the sticks, TOO TIGHT. Buttons work though!
Maybe someone could post on their Facebook page requesting to loosen the sticks? I've already posted on their page this week. -_-
