i have very good news everyone .
''galaxy world george st'' just opened their new facebook acc about 2 hours ago, they deleted their old acc i think. it says:
Re-Opening
February 1 at 10:00am
Galaxy World George St in Sydney, Australia.

http://www.facebook.com/#!/events/415748258500750/

someone should log into the dancing/music game forum to tell those players to keep their gw cards .

Thanks for the news. I wonder if they'll get new buttons in the mean time.

If you've been living under a rock for the best part of last week, you should be warned that Galaxy World has closed down due to rent issues, but will re-open on the 1st of February.

Just want to remind the arcade monsters that YSB is tomorrow. So you want to play Street Fighter on the weekend tomorrow at YSB is the best place to do it.

Does no one come to TZ on Sundays? I went for a bit to unrust but only played against an Akuma who kept trying to demon while I was knocked down.

I love those bonus stages  :)

TZ has an opportunity to rope in a steady stream of income if they had their finger on the pulse of Sydney's arcade scene.

They should pitch an offer to the former GW owners to pick up their cabinets and hit the ground running. Sounds like win/win to me. A guaranteed increase in business for TZ and the GW dudes get to offload some of their useless stock.

Then again, arcade owners in this city never struck me as the type to seriously invest in their hardware nor acknowledge the potential in a dedicated community of players. Also, SFIV cabinets aint cheap.

Skill testers and guitar games indeed.
