Exact Schedule is TBC but will be approximately this format:

Opening time each day is 9am

Friday Last Chance Qualifiers

10am Super Street Fighter 4 AE

1pm Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3

3pm Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown


DOA5 and TTT2 Winner Stays on Challenges throughout the day

Saturday – Top 16 Finals
- 10am: Super Street Fighter 4 AE Top 16 tournament
- 1pm: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Top 16 Tournament
- 3pm: Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown Top 16 Tournament

- Dead Or Alive 5 and Tekken Tag 2 winner stays on challenges ongoing and Best Streak play off
- Between tournaments: Casual play and Exhibitions TBC

Sunday – Top 4 Stage finals
All above games have a top 2-4 played on Esports stage - TBC stage times.

Damn I thought the qualifiers were on the Saturday, I can't make it on the Friday due to work.
Oh well, I'll go to watch the finals I guess.

just wondering... if i attended the qualifiers on friday and randomly happened to qualify for top16 and only purchased a ticket for the friday, would i have to purchase another to participate the next day?

My expectation is I could put your name on the list to return to Home Grown Gaming (only) at no charge to participate in the event.  I'm sure we'd work something out.

Is there definitely going to be casuals available for SSF4AE and Marvel all day Saturday? If so how many setups?

I must say $40 to just come play casuals is very expensive.... (I have no interest in the eb expo itself).

I can't comment on the cost; the charge is for the Expo, not casuals.  But I can happily report that there will be machines available for casuals.

Our schedule for tournaments is structured so there will be downtime between pools, and we should have a few spare machines even during pools.

So just to confirm, to gain entry we just need to go to the Online Ticket Collection and there will be a guestlist?

As luck would have it I'll be free on Friday, so I'll be down there for at least part of the day.

Two changes to the previously advised times:
Friday’s start time back to 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm. 
Due to Sunday schedule being unknown and the need to pack down rapidly, I am making the top 4 finals Saturday night.

Hey Chill - actually as a player entrant to Home Grown Gaming, you report directly to the door at Home Grown Gaming stadium at Badgery Pavilion (across from the Dome) at Sydney Olympic Park.  Player entries do not grant EB Expo full access, so no need to register unless you want to buy a ticket and see the other parts of the show.
