The online is waaay better with the patch. Way waaaaay better. The only problem is asshats that dont use ggpo recommended frame delay in high pings.

When i recently played tomo the lag was almost nonexistent, and i think hes in melb or sydney... Im in perth.

I also played a game against an american east coaster... And it was actually somewhat playable.


This netcode is nothing short of amazing. It is by FAR the best netcode yet featured in any fighting game.

that was some next level lag (it was me dw, brother was DL shit). for the first time in my life my stick inputs were actually being affected as well
sick of this lag, havnt had a good game since BAM. if your up for it age, it would be cool if we got a few games in at shadowlogic, i wouldnt mind travelling halfway across melbourne to play this bloody game

Oh man, I was shitting myself when I saw that counter superflash.

Throw assist on a team with updo as an alternative is so damn good, I'm glad you're playing around with that stuff, the frame trap/throw setup is dirty as.

I can't bring myself to see valentine as a top tier character, I always feel like my characters should be able to handle her options and it's me screwing it up, but it's getting harder to keep that opinion. Her and filia also have bs "whiff randomly" hurt boxes which is nice.

good sets, I don't think my main team is as good against you now as the parasoul/bella team is though.

bella w/para assist just rips pcocks game to shreds. shouldve just play 2v2 haha, i feel like my val isnt really as good as my fil or my pcock(when im not vsing bella) just dead weight

Haha, folks team so cheap, too funny and only getting better with the patch... Sigh.

Any character with bike or tear shot assist should give peacock trouble... Its a free anti peacock move that doesnt need to be charged, super cheap against peacock imho.


Well ill be back to play you guys on the 22nd... And we can start the rivalries anew!

The full screen argus' make me feel so filthy and i hate wasting. Also i was beating age pretty convincingly so really, i didn't want to make him rAGE (pun) with the full-screen rape that is argus w/item drop

Speaking of item drop. Ive been messing around with the qcf.lp and then making it safe (on whiff and block) with hp.item as a defense. Seems to be working alright. But it does elimanate the lp.item which means that it really isnt a TRUE defensive 'manuever'. Plus i move around a lot so by the time age actully gets near me, the lp.item is useless 'cause I'm way off from where i used to be.

Speaking of not getting used to getting used to new things. My muscle memory has always been a big problem, even with sf. I've got mad stubborn hands, especially since i don't usually think about what I'm doing when I'm playing.

Did you like how i layed it out dime? Dat organization.

I found another cool thing with her, decidedly gimmicky... But meh:

Knockdown with bomber... Or ranged assist.. Call boxcar timed to hit as they tech towards peacock (everyone techs toward this girl dont they? Lol)
Crossup with teleport.

Its gimmicky cause they can always tech back or they can simply tech forward and block crossup... Still though i think this style of mixup might be right up peacocks alley... Need to try and find more points to try this from as well as a non crossup option.


Right now im trying to find as many uses for lvl2 item drop as possible... Basically to attack with it.

sounds pretty good, i don't know if that would work with the fil uppercut assist. ill test it, haha jk i cant because im still pre-patch.. but i do already have the lp.item drop whilst filia wrecks shit, then throw a couple of georges

Age, disconnected from xbox live? or is it just you cant emotionally handle my tight resets?

a few really good games that got really intense, but as always, a lot of bs!!
