[PERTH] OHN11 OzHadou Regionals: Perth

OzHadou Nationals 11 - Australia's longest running fighting game event is happening on the weekend of February 22nd-24th.

As per previous years, each state is running an OzHadou Regional tournament, where players earn seeding points for the official tournament games at OzHadou Nationals.

This year, OzHadou Perth is running OHR qualifiers on the 20th of January for 4 games: Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition 2012, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, The King of Fighters 13, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. OHN11 bracket seeding points are up for grabs for each of these games for the Top 3 placers.

Tournament information:
Location: Edith Cowan University - Mount Lawley Campus, Building 14 - Rooms 114-116
Date: January 20th 2013
Time: 11am - Noon Signups and Casuals. Tournaments start immediately afterward at 12pm.

Byo: Stick/Controller (360). These WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR YOU. Also as we have MANY tournaments to run and sharing out your stick WILL lead to delays in the brackets, please BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER.

Food: Food/drink is allowed in the room, as long as you clean up after yourselves and throw away your garbage.
Fees: $10 entry fee for each tournament.

Prize Structure: Top 3 placers will receive OHN11 seeding points. The entirety of the pot for each game will go to the winner of that game for the purposes of subsidizing their flights/accommodation for OHN11 in Sydney*.

*IMPORTANT* This prize money will be given to the winner either at the airport prior to departure to Sydney for OHN11 OR during the weekend of OHN11 in Sydney. If the winner is NOT able to attend OHN11 the prize will be handed down to the next highest ranking player who IS attending OHN.

11am: Doors Open - Casuals + Registration of Competitions
12pm: Tekken Tag Tournament 2
1:30pm: KOF 13
[Lunch Break if time permits]
3:30pm: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
5:30pm: Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition

**The Schedule is an approximate estimation. Arrive Early. If we are ahead of schedule, we will not waste time and we will move on. **

Tournament structure:
Double Elimination (Winners Bracket and Losers Bracket)
Best of 3 games, best of 3 rounds (when appropriate)
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be played Best of 5 Rounds.
Winners Finals, Losers Finals and Grand Finals are BO5 Games.
EXCEPT for Marvel which is Best of 5 Games all the way through the Bracket.

Winner keeps character(s), may change ultra/superarts/assists etc.
Loser may counterpick character(s).
Do your button checks prior to games.
The Winner is responsible for reporting results of the match to the tournament organizer.
Pausing will result in the loss of the round.
INEVITABLE DEFEAT RULE: IF the round is paused in the middle of a super/ultra animation that would have ended the round, the pausing player will not be penalized and the result of that round will not change. NB- In Marvel the Inevitable Defeat Rule only applies if the hyper has killed the 3rd character.

Game Specific Rules -
UMVC3: Auto Super Jump will be turned OFF, Normal control scheme will be used, players may not use Simple control scheme. Use of game-breaking glitches (e.g. the Nova DHC glitch) will result in disqualification and a loss of that round. Timer is set to 99 Seconds. Default handicaps/damage

KOF13: "White Stage" soft bannable on request. If you pick random, players can agree on what they want to do, otherwise just rematch. Billy, Saiki, EX Kyo/Iori/Karate will be unlocked and available.

TTT2: Timer is set to 80 seconds, Stage Select must be Random. TTT2 is Best of 5 rounds, best of 3 games. DLC Characters (e.g. Michelle, Angel, Dr B etc.) will be available and are allowed to be used

AE2012: Timer is set to 99. Default handicaps/damage settings, Best of 3 Rounds, Best of 3 Games.

If you so desire, bring casual setups. Anyone who is willing to bring a setup to help with the tournament is welcome to, and should contact us as soon as possible so we can start accounting for that.

You might want to mention about KOF13 DLC chars.

Also user pressing start after/during ultra or a move that would take the round shouldn't be punished in-case the loser decides to be ungentlemanly.
