We don't have a music thread so thought i'd start one up. Obviously this is for the hiphop style of music and it's influences/sub genres. I know there's quiet of few ppl on here that enjoy the music. I'll get things started by posting a few different songs that i enjoy listening to :)

I've been catching up lately, I'm currently listening through Captain Murphy's Duality [2012]. Here's a sample or two;

Ah cool, I've been keeping an eye on him ever since his first album "1983" back at 2006. Although, I've haven't listened to all of his stuff in 2012 but nothing that a good listening session or two won't solve. :)

Anyhoo, I'll add some more funk/soul songs that was on heavy rotation a while ago, thanks to recommendations.

Baby Huey - Running

Baby Huey - A Change is Going to Come
Love me some vinyl Baby Huey. <3

Gloria Jay - Know What You Want

Gloria Taylor - How Can You Say It

Moses Dillard & The Tex Town Display - I've got to find a Way (To Hide my Hurt)

Frank Hutton/Frank Hutson- Old Man Me

Harvey Scales and the Seven Seas - Trying to Survive

Swamp Dogg - Total Destruction to Your Mind

you old school guys sure listen to some weird music

I hope you like this. ;D
