Stone smite on Skrull missing?

I can never land it, is there something I'm doing wrong? Just doing simple B B C S combo into Stone Smite, but never works?

Its a timing thing. You can't mash MMHS and Stone Smite after you land. You need to space it out in the air as much as possible and S as late as possible (so you hit the ground faster to be able to full charge a stonesmite)
