Here's a pretty good run-down of the match between Mike and Swolefiend from L.I. Joe detailing lots of little nuances that may have gone overlooked by many.

He points out a lot of interesting details such as:

- Normals doing recoverable chip damage
- EX meter use, including stance/mode changes and EX application to specials such as Ryu's shinshoryuken
- Revenge/Ultra use, including the ability to cancel combo into it similar to Third Strike/ST's Supers
- Ryu's 2 and 3 hit fireball properties
- What appears to be a just-defend mechanic in action and its multiple uses
- Elevated importance of counterhits and the massively increased cues when they come into effect
- OTG attacks
- Side switches to retain positional/side continuity between rounds
- Quick recovery from knockdowns (potentially only applicable to soft knockdowns?)

Chun Li seems to have taken some Soul Fisting lessons from Morrigans;

The whole game looks really slow. Looks slower than Street Fighter 4 which was already really slow compared to others SF games.

Don't know why they're fascinated with making the gameplay slow. Is it to attract new gamers, easier barrier for entry?

Looks like shit either way. They need to speed it up.

Maybe they made the game slow so they can release a Hyper Fighting version later.

I'm liking this now. I watched the comparison video's of Ryu vs Chun li split screen between 4 and 5 and the speed is now looking good. It looks like the characters rise faster also, hopefully to combat any cross up shenanigans.

Now we need Sagat in there.
