Speculation is that two more classic characters from SF2 are yet to be revealed. I'm personally hoping for Sim and Gief, with Akuma being a day one DLC option. I think withholding Akuma for day one DLC would actually be a smart marketing and cash spinning move, as much as I loathe the idea. It would also give them a platform to stress test their DLC model on release with an item they know will sell well.

Interesting that a Capcom dude at the TGS presentation desk today is dressed as Honda though. Of course, this might mean absolutely nothing.

I'm liking the cast of characters so far. I'm hoping for gief in one of the two classic character spots if that holds true. Akuma day one DLC seems to be a given. Hype badass who'll sell, though he could definitely fit as a classic character...

Been on the beta today. Big thanks to Niah for some help. Ends up I got a play it on low settings but hopefully the game get's "optimized" in Niahs words.

The game itself is....interesting. Can't say I was like "Whoaaaa, this game is awesome" , although with so few characters and experience it ended up just as a fuck around. All of the weird block stun/push block things seem quite true, although I guess no one is playing optimally. I ended up picking Karin for a bit who seems fun. I also picked Ken, but felt I was falling back on basic SF4 techniques, but that were less effective because of how the normals operate.

Verdict - Wait to see more characters and gameplay.
