Fark Mogo, you're meant to laugh at me, not yourself. Bort has the right idea.

In my defense though if you change the other options like aftereffects and quality and press back the changes stick.

Thanks to omfg-gg as well although the issue has been resolved. I look forward to playing against you all. I apologise in advance if I dont stay on for long sets because I have an injury that doesn't allow me to sit for long periods of time (or stand, or do anything productive at all).

Dont mind me, I'm full retard.  I didn't turn off vsync I pressed back instead of confirm,  go ahead point your fingers at me and laugh

Hmm, still getting the same input lag as I was before with the old monitor. I've turned off v-sync and set my frame rate to fixed yet it still feels very sluggish to me. Neutral jump tsurugis are becoming empty jump karakusas, is there anything else that I have to do to get rid of input lag?

This video works better in explaining the setup

hasn't been updated to 2012 (backthrow setups especially) but most of the info there is valuable

Nah im a softie. Vitrol and Sildenafl are my Makoto sensei.
Vitrol in particular is a grandmaster makoto professor  8)

Sildenafl is too strong with whatever character he chooses to play as on any given day :P

anyways, ggs to Darkace and Hongvandamn today

The Mak/Sagat matchup isn't as bad as you all make it out to be,  what generally gets me into a lot of trouble against Sagat is impatience. A couple great tools for Makoto in this match are and,  they can tag the recovery of Sagat's high tiger shots from a fair distance away due to Sagat's upper body hitbox leaning forward more. With to anti-air and stuff tiger knees Makoto has the mid range game covered.

Yet,  I still fall into the impatient category myself and a good Sagat will frustrate you to no end which is why Heavy slapped me silly in our games yesterday.  One thing I did take our games was that when Mak is down on health on the other side of the screen you have to bait Sagat into throwing fireballs which I was doing when I was throwing out short lk tsurugis.

Ggs ser Weapons

Anyways details as usual below i better get decent numbers or i'm going to kill muttons.. and we dont want that do we?

I don't mind really :p

Anyway,  I may not be able to attend this week depending on how things play out

I have no means of transportation now.

One of the reasons Sagat is a nightmare for Makoto is you can't focus through fireballs. You automatically eat the next one or a st.HK. can't recover in time except maybe from full screen.

She dashes too far in >.<

That is the reason why I hate the match-up, but once she gets in she can do a lot of dirty shit to Sagat...or eat an uppercut

Probably turn up a bit later with a full setup in tow

I'd like to play more games on pc but it's my brother's and most of the time when he's home he's watching TV shows on it. I also find it hard to adjust to the screen lag on the monitor my brother uses,  it's geared more towards watching blu-ray/dvds than games like AE.

Best Makoto is from New Caledonia,  a French colony off of QLD. A Cammy/Oni player named Yashiro Kamikaz is also from there.

2. Out of the room (Sol/Bosslogic)
3. Sao snake (Phero/CARNAGE)
4. Filipino chumps (TB|Rossco/Exis)

Once again, thanks to everyone that made the trip out and we would love to see you again in a fortnight.

Alright we had the same amount of people turn up to this BHB as we had at the last, consistent but we'd still like to see more than 19 entrants next time.

1. Phero (GUY)
3. Heavy Weapons (SAGAT)

5. Burnout (ONI)
7. Bort (CHUN-LI)

Congratulations to Phero for taking out this Grim and Frostbitten edition of BHB, special shoutouts to AdyPete for coming in equal 5th place. Same people in the top 4 this week that were in the top 4 last week, will anyone be able to slot themselves in there and knock one of them out of their top 4 perch?

I was actually thinking about doing something like that, time permitting of course.
